Will this set a precedent? What other forms of advertising can we expect to see?

I have a number of questions regarding the ethics of the surgeon who performed the transplant, not to mention the rest of the people involved in this ad campaign to put one person's life ahead of the interests of everyone else in a similar situation. And, yes, I do have a vested interest in the answers...my husband, Phil, happens to be one of those 1,284 in Texas waiting for a liver.
